This is my first softener and I’m happy with the results. My only question is if the plumber put the controller on the correct tank. The install looks different than the picture you sent.
Received the SoftPro Elite Smart HE Water Softener on time and no damage. Did the installation myself in about 3 hours after removal of my old system. Install guide and video was very helpful. System is running flawlessly. Jeremy was extremely helpful and knowledgeable for any questions I had….Rhea also.

The setting up of the system was straightforward. It would of being easier if you provided/recommended the flex line connector that go between the filter outlet to the water softener inlet. I bought the two flex lines you offered and could only use one from the water softener outlet to the house return.
Installation was straightforward and everything looks to be working just fine. The ordering process was easy, the price was good, and the communication keeping me updated on my order status was welcomed. I'm very happy that I was able to do this project on my own and not have to pay for a professional. I did a lot of planning for this (I've had the softener sitting for four months!), and it was worth it.
Simple install. And this comes from someone that never worked with pex. Had to move the filters since my space was very tight. Took about 3 hrs. Ran the drain line out the wall, elbowed down under landscaping rock and into a downspout tile.
Looks good, works great! Water feels like silk on the skin and family really notices a difference! No more ugly calcium deposits in bath/shower and around fixtures! I love all the advanced features around regeneration and less salt use, too! An amazing value for the money vs. what else is out there, and I've owned some of the best!
This was is a super easy installation. This unit uses approximately 1/3 less salt than my old General Electric all in one water softener. We are extremely happy with the unit.
Just installed the SoftPro Elite water softener and filter in our pre-civil war era home. Neither my wife not I are plumbers but we were able to install the system,with a whole-house filter and sediment trap pre-softener. Instructions were excellent but I would watch a few install videos to supplement before starting the project. A plumber quoted us $2,000 to install so the savings were significant. Highly recommend the SoftPro which was not hard to install. Whole project took less than 5 hours! Ist image is old system; second is mid-install;' and third is finished install.
Hook up the soft pro iron filter that also goes into my home express 3 stage filter with 2 carbon filters now with no iron in my water and 2 carbon filters my well water taste good and is so clean. Before I installed the soft pro iron filter my express express filters would get plug up with iron and my water softner injector valve would plug up but no more the iron filter removed all that iron.
It's a game changer!
Not only does the water treatment system does what's expected. It's priced fair, they have excellent customer service before, during and after installation. It's a beautiful appliance that fits perfectly in my garage.

Very good, our hard water was changed to “0” . The other contaminates are all “0” also. Like chlorine etc. I was able to install it with my grandson; just took our time but we figured it out because Water Pro has excellent customer support- just had to give them a call; they responded very promptly after I left a message.

Absolutely love my equipment. Everything came very well packaged and arrived on time. Instructions were clear and easy to understand. Customer service was also superb as I had a few questions while installing and they answered everything completely and made sure I was set up correctly. Great job! This is a very nice water softener with some really good features that promise to cut down on salt and water usage. The instruction manual was good and eay to follow. The only negative comment I have is the instruction manual does not have any details for the checking and setting up the brine tank. The brine tank did not fill correctly and the softener did not regen correctly when first placed in service. After removing all of the salt, It was discovered the brine well was not inserted correctly in the salt support. This resulted in the the brine slots to be blocked by salt and inhibited proper operation. The high level float was also set too high. Once these two items were corrected, the water softener worked correctly.
Had to replace a softener of ten years, suddenly. Research showed the unit had very high marks. Ordered quickly, and it arrived quickly. Was able to install myself, following the instructions. It has done a fantastic job. Very pleased.
Was looking for a replacement to my existing water, filtration system paying cost attention to iron removal as I have a great deal of iron in my well water. This system truly fit the bill and of all the systems I researched it had the highest removal rate coupled with a very fair price ended up replacing my water softener and iron filtration system and have had the system on line now for a little over several months and could not be happier.
The soft water is lovely. It has only had to regenerate twice in 30 days unlike my older unit--Very efficient. I like the display showing the usage, flow rate and remaining charge in gallons. Great product.
The hoses worked great. I did have to have to use a reducer to go from the 1” to hook up to the 3/4” pipe my house uses. It would be nice if they could make these with 3/4” ends that hook to the house plumbing.
The entire system was very easy to Install using the flex hose kit (an additional item to order). The installation time, included cutting two copper pipes, took about an hour (after unboxing the system components) for about 1.5 people's effort. This system replaced an existing softener so there was no additional plumbing required.
Prior to installing the entire system we pre-conditioned the carbon filter tank using two garden hoses and the supplied adapters, which took less than an hour overall, including a 45 min fill and carbon soak period and a flush of the carbon media.
The only improvement I can think of would be for the company to review, update and reorganize the installation manuals. They reflected poorly on an otherwise good product, in my opinion.
We purchased and installed the Echo Pro Softener (32K with 1 CF Aquafine) and the SoftPro Eco AIO Iron Filter (1 CF Katalox Lite) in September 2025. Our well water tested at 16 GPG hardness, 4 PPM iron, and 0.56 mg/L manganese. Within 3–4 days, the water had no taste, no color, and was very soft.
Kristine at SoftPro recommended this setup based on our water analysis, and it turned out to be an excellent recommendation. Jeremy later advised that we could remove the sediment filter before the iron filter, which we did. We kept the filter after the softener before the UV light, and after a month it showed no iron staining, no sediment, and no discoloration.
The system has performed exactly as described, and we’re very satisfied with both the results and the support.

The product arrived on time per the shedule provided, it was in great shape suffering no damage the Christmas Holidays. I installed it myself and it was straight forward. After competion I googled how long before we would notice it softening the water and got the answer nearly immediately. Sure enought once we used the water from lined that existed prior to the water softener start-up we saw instantly softer water. We have now eliminated skum build up chemicals from dishwasher and washer. Excellent effectiveness. We are very happy. I highly recommend the product.
