About Us
We're pleased to present this year's Annual Water Quality Report, covering January 1 to December 31, 2017. Our mission is to deliver safe, dependable water to all our customers throughout the year. We source our water primarily from Oologah Lake and the Caney River, with supplemental supply from the City of Tulsa.
Our Source Water Protection Plan, available at our office, rates our system's vulnerability as MODERATE. This assessment includes detailed information about potential contamination sources that could affect our water quality.
If you have questions about this report or our water service, please contact Mr. Jerry Gammill at (918) 371-2055. We encourage our valued customers to stay informed about their water utility by attending our monthly meetings, held on the second Monday of each month at 8:00 a.m. at our office located at 17227 N. 129th East Avenue.
Washington County Rural Water District No. 3 conducts regular water quality monitoring in accordance with Federal and State regulations. The data in this report shows results from January 1 to December 31, 2017, though some information may be older as regulations permit less frequent testing for certain contaminants.
It's important to note that all drinking water, including bottled water, may reasonably contain at least small amounts of some substances. The presence of these substances doesn't necessarily indicate a health risk.
